  1. Julius Cesar was a dictator of Rome. I did not trust him as a leader because he sent us into a civil war. Cesar disobeyed our Senate and doing so destroyed one of our other leader’s army. After all that trouble he claimed himself as our dictator forever, and doing so broke our tradition of dictators being in power while they are needed. I would not kill him but when he died, we were put into another civil war.

  2. I would never want Julius Caeser as our leader, eventhough he was one I wish with all my heart that he could have been overuled over removed or something, because he was evil and cruel and often punished people with death and he put Rome through a civil war, not cool, but anyways I think Rome would have been much better off without him.

  3. There are many different opinions about Julius Caesar. Some people support him but others do not. While many people believe he makes smart decisions, others think he should not be a dictator. "I think Julius Caesar was a great leader because he provided jobs for the jobless Romans and was a great general. I liked his decision to provide land for the landless. I also thought he was very intelligent because he created a calendar with 365 days,12 months, and a leap year." Julius Caesar is a very determined person and I believe he could improve Rome.

  4. Julius Ceasar was a great general and dictator. Even though he broke th rule about dictators I dont think they havr a reason to complain. I liked his idea about being kind to th poor and giving them jobs. Also it was generouse to give landless people land. The people who disliked Ceaser hand no reason

  5. I do not want Julius Caesar as the Roman dictator. He disobeyed the Senates orders. They told him to give up his army and return to Rome instead he attacked a fellow Roman General. He knew he was causing a civil war but he still declared himself dictator of Rome for life and in doing so he broke the Romans’ tradition of being dictator only when needed. I think Julius Caesar is a terrible leader and he is not worthy of leading Rome.

  6. I would not like to have Julius Caesar as our leader. I think he would lead us into many wars because he started to Civil War. He also declared himself as dictator of Rome for life. Doing so he broke the Rome tradition that allowed dictators to hold power for a short period of time. I also think it was selfish of Julius Caesar, that once Crassus was killed in battle that he would rule alone. On the other hand, Julius Caesar would possibly be a good leader. After he declared himself dictator of Rome for life, he knew reforms were needed. He started new colonies to provide land for landless people and created work for jobless people. He also ordered landowners using slaves for work to hire more free workers Also without Julius Caesar as Rome's dictator we would not have a calendar, because he made the calendar. AS Julius Caesar was popular to lower class people in rome, many people in Rome were against him.

  7. I think Julius Caesar would be a pretty good leader. He had a really difficult choice to make and he new neither one would technically be the "right" choice. And he was kind to the poor. He started new colonies to provide land fort he landless and created work for Romans without a job. He was also wise, he filled the Senate with new members who were loyal to him (the last Senate accused him of treason) and created a new calender that we use today.
